Yes, West End Kids provides up to £40,000 of funding every year in bursaries & scholarships ensuring that no child’s ambition will be left behind by financial circumstance. To apply, firstly you will need to be successful in obtaining a place within a West End Kids program by audition. You will then have the opportunity to apply for a bursary or scholarship.

DOES WEST END KIDS INTERFERE WITH SCHOOL?

No. West End Kids encourages strong academic / vocational achievement. The business has changed a lot since the days where it was advisable to put all of your eggs into one basket and focus on performing. Today, that is NOT good advice.
Over the last 2 decades, there have been numerous opportunities for West End Kids to enter the full-time training space, but we remain passionate advocates of elite level part-time training up to age 18 and THEN making some clear choices about your future direction.

ARE ALL STAFF DBS CHECKED?

Yes, all West End Kids staff are enhanced DBS checked and/or have full chaperone licenses.

WHERE DO WEST END KIDS TRAVEL FROM

Our weekly & monthly programs bring together ambitious and dedicated young singers and dancers from all over the UK and Northern Europe who want to hone their performing abilities. Attendees come because they are in search of tough, challenging, elite training that will noticeably improve and enhance a child’s performance capabilities. Typically attendees cannot find this through local institutions or organisations.
Members of the WEK: Summer Intensive travel from all over the world.

HOW ARE THE PROGRAMS GROUPED?

We have a unique system that allows performers at all levels of skill and ability to train in an environment where they will be able improve their strengths while also focusing on improving upon areas that need improvement.
West End Kids is also unique in that we are not afraid to group by ability and not by age, meaning age is no obstacle to meeting your performing goals.
