The WEK approach

Between sessions

Progress depends on consistency. Performers are expected to retain, practise, and return ready to build on previous work.

Where Associates can lead

Associates supports progression towards:

  • stronger technical foundations
  • improved audition readiness
  • readiness for more intensive WEK training where appropriate

Progression is not automatic. Movement into other areas of West End Kids is based on readiness, consistency, and suitability.

Entry is selective

Performers are typically invited into Associates following a workshop or audition.

How to apply:

  1. Attend a workshop or submit a self-tape
  2. Receive an outcome and recommendation
  3. Join Associates if appropriate
