For more than twenty-five years, Martin Williams has trained young performers who have progressed from early training into leading roles across the West End, Broadway, and major stage productions.

West End Kids Vocal Studio provides structured online vocal and performance training for ambitious singers aged 9–18 who are working towards a professional standard in musical theatre.

Led by Martin Williams — Founder of West End Kids and Head of Voice & Performance — the studio focuses on the disciplines that underpin reliable stage performance: vocal consistency, acting through song, musical interpretation, and the professional habits expected of young performers.

Families typically train with the studio when they are looking for clear direction, structured development, and guidance informed by more than two decades of preparing young performers for professional work.

Training takes place online, allowing singers to work within the West End Kids vocal system wherever they are based.

I have been having Zoom singing lessons with Martin since 2016 (4 years+) and I have loved every single lesson with him. I have found that I have dramatically improved not only as a singer, but as a performer. Martin has helped me notice where/what my bad habits are and how to go about changing them, but he also ensures that you understand why it is bad and why that particular change can have such a major impact! Martin has helped me with; my graded exams, Music GCSE coursework (practical), West End Kids solos, audition preparation and much more and he constantly strives to help you achieve your own personal goals. I have noticed that I can sing much more confidently, without strain and just in general, a whole lot better and for that I am very grateful for Martin's lessons because I know that without them, I wouldn't be able to sing the way that I can now! Our daughter Tilly joined West End kids as a 14 year old who had been plagued with Vocal Nodules since 10 years old , we had received the all clear they had gone 6 months prior to WEK but her voice needed complete rehab. Martin has patiently worked with Tilly via zoom and in person now for 2 years and her voice has completely transformed. She is able to hit notes we never imagined possible , even had she had a healthy voice ! Her current vocal range is something we never thought she would achieve and her confidence has reached new heights when performing solos. Martins techniques and teaching style has been priceless for Tilly and she has now gone onto a top London performing arts college and is continuing her lessons with Martin as it’s so important for her to keep on progressing .
