I am from Bath in the South West.
When did you join West End Kids?
April 2021
What inspired you to audition for West End Kids?
I saw a post on social media so looked on the account and found so many exciting videos that made me want to get involved.
Performance Highlights:
What has been your favourite performance so far and why?
My favourite performance was CarFest main stage in front of 40,000 people because it was so special that we had the opportunity to perform in front of that many people.
Can you share a memorable moment from one of your performances?
A memorable moment I have is Elderflower Fields 2022 and stepping onstage for the first time because it was my first performance with the West End Kids Troupe and it felt amazing that I had the chance to be part of something so special.
Training and Dedication:
How many hours a week do you spend rehearsing and training?
I rehearse with WEK for about 9 hours a week on average.
What do you find most challenging and rewarding about your training?
I sometimes find scheduling my rehearsal time into my week challenging but once I do schedule it effectively I feel very happy because it doesn’t feel like I’m rushing to do anything at the last minute.
Future Aspirations:
What are your future goals in the performing arts?
My future goals are to be a dancer on the West End and then become a dance teacher.
Which role or production would you love to be a part of?
I would love to be in Moulin Rouge, 42nd Street or &Juliet.
Personal Interests:
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of performing?
One thing I love to do outside of performing is surfing.
What is a fun fact about you that not many people know?
I am a gymnastics coach.
Motivation:
What keeps you motivated to keep improving and performing?
One thing that motivates me is seeing my progress over time and seeing that my hard work is paying off.
Experience with West End Kids:
How has being a part of West End Kids impacted you?
West End Kids has given me the opportunity to improve as an all-round performer and also increase my confidence. It also has helped me become more organised and self-disciplined.
What advice would you give to new members or those aspiring to join West End Kids?
To be positive, work hard and get fully involved with every activity and task.
