West End Kids Bring the House Down at Silverstone Festival 2024 with ‘Mr. Brightside’
The Silverstone Festival 2024 proved a thrilling combination of motorsport and musical entertainment, where the young performers of West End Kids truly shone. Under the electrifying presence of the festival’s live music, these “West End Kids” demonstrated why they’re worthy of gracing such a title with their performance of “Mr. Brightside,” an The Killers’ hit that was truly made for the stage they occupied.
Taking place from the 23rd to the 25th of August this year, 2024’s Silverstone Festival found itself jam-packed with a family-friendly atmosphere and something on offer for everyone—from live music that shook the venue’s foundations to classic car displays that elicited gasps of wonder.
But personally, as someone who hasn’t missed a chance to nurture the next generation of musical talent in my capacity as a musical director and singing teacher, I found it to make my heart swell with pride and my eyes well up with happy tears to bear witness when the West End Kids took to that festival stage.
